The whole wood story- from tree to furniture. At High Weald Furniture we specialise in the design and manufacture of quality furniture made using only home-grown hardwoods. Local woodlands, managed as they have been for generations, provide us with sustainable and attractive timbers such as oak and chestnut. We rent our workshop from our main timber supplier who cuts most of the wood we use on site, we also have our own stocks of green & seasoned F.S.C. certified timber . This reduces transportation to a minimum and enables us to maintain control over the sustainable sources of our timber as well as maintaining the important links between timber growers and users. We design and manufacture all of the furniture to order, ourselves, as well as our stock ranges of furniture we can produce entirely new designs to your specifications. Just contact us with your requirements, we'll come up with the designs. All of the furniture shown is made from local, sustainably grown timber & F.S.C. (Forest Stewardship Council) certified timber. If you have your own stocks of wood, we are happy to also make any of our stock range or specific commissions from timber supplied by you.
